FERPOX is a high quality unique 1-part epoxy primer. It is lead and chromate free and temperature resistant.
As tough as epoxy powder coating and isn't liable to chipping.
Grey RAL 7012 semi gloss finish which is over coated with most paint systems for a final finish.
FERPOX is applied as normal primer or paint and has a particularly good adhesion to iron, steel, pre-treated aluminium or hot-dip galvanized metal.
Due to its particularly high strength, FERPOX is the ideal primer for all heavily stressed or corrosion-prone metals.
In the automotive sector, FERPOX is used in the following areas: subfloors, wheel arches, spray walls, frames, window frames, battery holders and much more.
The application is carried out by means of a brush, roller or spray gun. For application with compressed air spray guns max. dilution is 10% nitro.
When applying with brush or roller apply one thin layer only.
1x thin layer is completely sufficient.
Recoatable: approx. 6 hours at 20 ° C.
Hardened: approx. 24 hours at 20 ° C.
Recoatable with 1-K and 2-K standard coatings: with 2-K max. 150 μm.
Drying time at 20 ° C: Dust-dry: approx. 30 min. – Grip: approx. 60 min.
Temperature resistance: -40 ° C to + 250 ° C continuous load – (colour change possible)
Colour: Basalt grey approx. RAL 7012 – silk gloss
